The B62 is a compact and space saving design for all types of broadcast, TV and location recordings.
Features includes ICs and transistors throughout, electronic tape tension control, capstan motor with electronic speed control and remote control of all functions. The Studer B62 is a quarter inch analogue recorder which can run at 7.5 ips or 15 ips, it can accept 5", 7" & 10.5" spools, the B62 was widely used in professional recording studios and broadcast facilities in the 1970's.

JOHN LENNON of the BEATLES used the STUDER B62 KVU in the 60' in his home studio to record his newly composed songs, which became later world known after being recorded with the whole band in the famous 

ABBEY ROAD STUDIO
